Aside from the recent “Royal” offering, Le Coq Sportif introduces another high-end version of its iconic Arthur Ashe silhouette with the Ashe Prestige this Spring 2016.
Essentially a signature model of the former American world number one professional tennis player, the silhouette was first introduced in 1981 and was already considered as one of the most sought after trainers during the ’80s.
Showcased in laced and velcro strap iterations, the popular low-top model is detailed with multiple lateral perforations to improve the shoe’s breathability on the court, while comprised of both full-grain leather and nubuck.
Finished off in tonal colorways of white, blue and beige, look for the entire lineup at select Le Coq Sportif retailers overseas now.

Author’s Take
I’m a fan of the sneaker’s simplicity. I like clean and minimalist designs so I’m pretty biased. I like the beige-colored pair the most, but solid offerings overall.
