Originally drafted by Charlotte Hornets, this latest variation of the Nike Kobe 11 reflects what could have been, as it essentially pays tribute to Kobe Bryant’s very brief stint with the team back in 1996 before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Featuring the Hornets’ signature colors respectively, white and light grey overlays are utilized for its breathable engineered mesh upper, while the theme is prominently seen on the tongue, laces, inner lining and larges Swooshes on the side panels in vibrant shades of purple and blue lagoon.
All resting atop a clean white sole unit, you can purchase this forthcoming pair at select Nike accounts on April 28th for $160.

Author’s Take
I’ve shared before that I’m a fan of the silhouette’s design. This colorway is a nice homage and it’s pretty appealing in general. Fans of the Black Mamba should consider purchasing.
