In celebration of the forthcoming 2016 Summer Olympics and also its 20th anniversary, this iconic Olympic variation of the Nike Air More Uptempo will be revived once again, as it was first seen on Scottie Pippen during the 1996 Summer games in Barcelona, Spain.
Showcased above consists of the 2016 version, and unsurprisingly, bearing the same aesthetic and build as its original counterpart. Midnight navy and white comprises the sneaker’s primary tones, while subtle pops of red are seen on the tongue to encapsulate the USA theme.
Retailing for $160, Nike retailers overseas have the shoe releasing on July 4th. It’s possible that it will arrive stateside on the same day or earlier to also coincide with our nation’s birthday.

Author’s Take
I’ve always liked this model ever since I saw Scottie rock the pair. I’m a fan of that enlarged branding, plus the design is just appealing in my view. It’s nice to see that this colorway will be offered again.
