Joining forces with one of the oldest and most-renowned German gold-beating manufacturers, “Eytzinger,” the duo essentially reinterpret the classic sneakers with luxe detailing. Sporting a premium leather construction for the Stan Smith and durable canvas and suede for the Rod Laver — each dipped in white, the focal point is directed at the tongues, heel tab and insoles, which incorporate metallic gold finishes.
Set to release at select adidas retailers on July 15th, more metal variations are expected to debut in silver and platinum, as the overall collection seems to pay homage to the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.
Stay tuned for more updates.
You can’t go wrong with classic silhouettes and these models are timeless. I’m biased towards the palette and that gold finish too. They’re both stylish and timeless.
