This June, Under Armour Basketball is pulling out all the stops with the 2019 Under Armour Basketball Asia Tour, the first time multiple UA Basketball athletes will tour together.
Six-time NBA All-Star, three-time NBA Champion and two-time MVP Stephen Curry will kick off the tour activities in Tokyo, Japan on June 22-23 and in Shenzhen, China on June 24-25. Stephen’s previous four Under Armour tours brought him closer to his fans across Asia and, last year, in Europe.
The Golden State Warriors guard will be traveling to Beijing and Shanghai, China with three members of the Under Armour Basketball family.
Joining the tour for the first time will be the dominant All-Star Joel Embiid, who is currently redefining the boundaries of the center position for Philadelphia 76ers, along with the high-flying New York Knicks guard Dennis Smith Jr. and the young pro and Orlando Magic center Mo Bamba, with his game-changing versatility. Together, the crew will visit Beijing on June 26-27, and Shanghai on June 28-29.
Fresh off an exhilarating 2018-2019 NBA campaign, the squad will each arrive in peak condition, ready to share lessons about getting better on and off the court. Through youth coaching and product deployment, Under Armour will continue to help players across Asia compete at their best, growing the cultural connectivities that makes basketball a truly global sport.
