In his relatively short tenure with Under Armour, Steph Curry has all but become synonymous with the brand, and with the announcement of UA’s latest 2016 first quarter earnings report, Curry’s role as brand ambassador is turning out to be the golden goose partnership so coveted by every sportswear brand. According to Forbes, UA earned four cents per share last quarter, double analysts’ estimates of two cents per share. First quarter revenues also hit $1.047 billion USD, ahead of estimates of $1.036 billion USD.

This is only the latest in a tradition of UA beating estimates every quarter since 2001, but numbers have undeniably been bolstered by Curry’s entrance — his name is currently carrying footwear sales, revenues of which increased 64 percent from $161 million USD to $264 million USD in the first quarter. UA attributes much of this success to Curry’s signature basketball sneaker line, as well as expanded running offerings. With Curry set to lead the Golden State Warriors into another NBA championship, things are only looking up for this happy partnership.
