Diadora has linked up with Social Status to create two exquisite colorways of the Diadora N9000 that will celebrate the 2016 Summer Olympics that will be taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
As noted above, this collaboration between North Carolina-based boutique Social Status and Italian sportswear company Diadora features two renditions of the N9000 silhouette. Both have been designed to resemble silver and gold medals, which as you know are given out during the Olympics. Both pairs come with suede detailing on the toe (blue or red), star detailing on the heels, the American flag with the Social Status logo inside of it on the heels and gold or silver side panels that are representative of the gold and silver medals.
Both pairs will be releasing on Saturday, April 30th at Social Status in-store and online.

These Diadora N9000s remind me of the gold and silver Gel Lyte 3s that were designed by Ronnie Fieg a couple of years back. I think Diadora and Social Status did a great job with both of these colorways.
