As its official moniker suggests, the sneaker’s particular palette is inspired by the species of bee found in Australia, which is also known as the Xylocopa bombylans.
Overall, this 2016 edition is slightly different from its 2012 counterpart, as it sports a black and blue color scheme across its upper and inner lining. Further detailed with co-branding on the heel and outsole, the respective theme is also seen on the insoles with a graphic-printed logo.
Finished off with a clean white midsole unit and black outsole, look for this pair to drop exclusively at Berlin’s SB flagship on Saturday, April 30th.
Stay tuned in for a possible global release.
Aside from the theme, the execution on this pair is pretty cool. I like the overall palette and I’m a fan of the silhouette as well.
