This upcoming Footpatrol x Le Coq Sportif Cycling Club Pack is the brands’ latest offering for Spring 2016, as the collection pays tribute to the Italian footwear label’s cycling roots and the blend of streetwear from each retailers’ perspective.
Comprised of the R800 silhouette, a jersey and socks, the colors of the Great Britain and French flag are utilized as a source of inspiration. In particular, the sneaker sports a two toned look that divides black and red hues. Comprised of mesh, nubuck and accents of thick-haired suede, the rear of the shoe bears white 3M reflective panels for added visibility at night.
Co-branding is seen on the side panels, tongue label and heel tab as it all rests atop a crisp white midsole unit. Additionally, the footbed features a gingham print graphic with dual-branded logos.
You can purchase this latest pair at FP and select accounts starting this Saturday, April 30th.
I’m not really inclined on the silhouette, but this execution is pretty cool. I like it because of the colorway and the makeup is solid.
