Nike Chairman and Co-Founder Phil Knight just released his new book Shoe Dog: A Memoir By The Creator Of Nike and in order to promote the book he’s been touring around the country and interviewing with different people.
Last night he appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert where he talked about the early beginnings of Nike, the innovations of the waffle sole and Michael Jordan and the creation of the Air Jordan 1. Knight also presented Stephen Colbert with a very special pair of custom sneakers. Seen in the video above, we can see that Colbert was gifted a custom pair of Nike Air Prestos that features lot and lots of graphics on the upper that represent and symbolize lots of important moments and significant things in Colbert’s life.
