The New Balance 574 is a classic NB silhouette. It’s NB’s golden child. If you’re a fan of the brand, you probably have at least one pair of the 574s. With that being the case, the 574 is also a shoe that was created a long time ago, meaning that the shoe could use some modern upgrades to fit in with the times. With that being said, have a look at the New Balance Re-Engineered 574 Breathe.
Created specifically for the Spring/Summer seasons, this new version of the 574 comes with a much more breathable upper. The classic sneaker comes equipped with a mesh toe, a welded, perforated saddle, and a little bit of leather hits placed on the heel region and foxing. The customary NB branding appears on the tongue and side panels to continue giving the shoe that classic look. Thoughts on the New Balance Re-Engineered 574 Breathe? Coming in grey and white, navy and white, red and white, and black and white, each pair will release beginning May 1st for $90. Cop or drop? Let us know in the comments below.

I respect and enjoy the classics, but I’m also all for giving them a modern touch, look and feel. I like this version of the 574, it looks to be a dope option for the Spring and Summer season.
