Its been quite some time since a colorway of the Nike Air Trainer SC High has released that really caught people’s attention. That all changes with this new colorway that hits retailers next week.
Inspired by the 1996 Olympics that took place in Atlanta, Georgia, this Nike Air Trainer SC High features the same colors that were used on the official logo of the 96 Olympic games. Teal suede and leather dominate the upper of this shoe while White accents add some contrast to the upper. Other details include hits of Metallic Gold on the eyelets, midsole and branding, as well as a peach logo on the tongue of the left shoe as a nod to Georgia, the peach state. Finishing touches include laurel wreath graphics on the insoles and a translucent outsole with confetti graphics.
Look for the Nike Air Trainer SC High 1996 Olympics at select Nike retailers on July 19, 2016 for a retail price of $140.
I generally don’t pay much attention to the Nike Air Trainer SC High, but this colorway is just too dope to ignore. Love everything about the shoe especially the graphic outsole and the gold accents. Great job by Nike.
