Nike‘s Dunk Low Disrupt is a playfully-altered take on the classic Dunk Low, and it’s leaning even further into its fun-loving ethos with a new “Kid at Heart” colorway. Rife with bright colors and special details sure to bring back childhood memories for many a female sneakerhead — the “Kid at Heart” is a women’s style — it’s also arguably the most vivid Dunk Low Disrupt to hit the market yet.
Uppers mix a finely-woven ballistic mesh base with patent leather overlays. Toeboxes present a light teal, quarters a bright yellow and heels a vibrant reddish orange. This trifecta is accented by crimson mudguards and eyestays plus bright sport blue heel pieces and collar flaps. These color flaps also supply one of the signature details, namely sticker-inspired star, heart and Swoosh graphics.
Clamshell pink tongues feature an exposed foam construction and small floral “stickers” around the Nike Sportswear graphic on their translucent tongue tag. Oversized orange heel tabs provide a playful nod to backpacks with a fabric construction and a translucent plastic load-lifter strap. Sail midsoles and translucent outsoles rife with golden sparkles round off the look.
The Nike Dunk Low Disrupt “Kid at Heart” is available via Nike SNKRS China now, and is priced at ¥899 CNY (approximately $139 USD).
