Nike has unveiled two new colorways of its Air Force 1 LV8 Utility — “White/University Red” and “Black/University Red.” It’s been a while since Nike released a new take on the modernized silhouette, with this drop following a previous “Team Orange” iteration from two years ago.
Starting at the top of the shoe, a skinny “Nike Air” patch logo is placed at the tip of the tongue, complemented by diagonal candy-stripe accents at the edge. The heel comes with a branded ripstop pull tab that sits above a blank leather heel counter — often stamped with Nike’s logo but has been kept clean this time around for a minimal look. Furthermore, a large cut-out Swoosh appears at the sidewalls, while tiny “Air Force 1” branding is placed at the forefoot. Both the black and white renditions of the silhouette come with a crisp white midsole that nods to the classic design of the original silhouette.
The Nike Air Force 1 LV8 Utility “White/University Red” and “Black/University Red” are currently available at Nike’s website for $103 USD.
