For those of you that are old enough, then you may remember that the Nike Air Presto made its debut 16 years ago back in 2000. Now, 16 years after its introduction, Nike is updating the icon with new materials and technology to create the Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit.
Already previewed on the site in recent weeks, the new Nike Air Presto Ultra Flynit incorporates the use of Flyknit on the upper, which delivers stretch in the collar, ventilation in the toe and tongue, and support in the heel and underneath the toecap. Another big change for this Ultra Flyknit version of the Air Presto is the new mid-cut collar, along with a engineered TPU cage, and ultra tooling for improved comfort and durability.
The Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit will be available via Nike SNKRS on April 28, and globally at nike.com/sportswear and select Nike retailers on May 5th for a retail price of $150.
Just when we thought that the Air Presto couldn’t get any better, BAM!, Nike hits us with this new Ultra Flyknit version. I’m definitely excited to try on a pair.
