The Nike Kybrid S2 “Sashiko” is the latest variation of Kyrie Irving’s signature silhouette, and it’s now available at select international retailers. If you’re wondering, Sashiko is a form of decorative reinforcement stitching that derived from Japan.
This rendition of the sneaker blends design elements from Kyrie Irving’s past three signature models including the 4, 5 and 6. Donning a clean cream woven upper, the heel counter and Swoosh branding are reinforced with the Japanese Sashiko stitching method. The design also pays homage to the classic SB logo that has been re-imagined with “Nike BB” on the tongue and heel.
Retailing for $130, look for the Nike Kybrid S2 “Sashiko” at select Nike stockists overseas today. Stay tuned for its stateside release date. Always keep it locked to KicksOnFire for the latest in sneaker news, release dates and where to purchase your favorite kicks.
