There’s several premium versions of the Air Jordan 4 out there. The Air Jordan 4 PRM Snakeskin drops next month, and the Air Jordan 4 Premium Black dropped less than two weeks ago. In my opinion though, none of them are as premium looking as the Air Jordan 4 Premium Obsidian. Coming in an Obsidian colored upper, today we get a closer look at this Fall release.
Opting to go with a very luxurious aesthetic, the shoe comes dressed in a quilted leather that’s placed all over the upper. Additional leather detailing is placed on the laces and lining and insoles. In an attempts to contrast the tonal upper, copper hits are placed on the studded heel tab, eyestays and the custom hang tag. The shoe sits on top of a white sole unit to give it a clean and crisp look. Releasing sometime in the Fall for $400, is this the best premium version of the Air Jordan 4 we’ve seen thus far? Stay tuned in to our Air Jordan 4 Premium Obsidian launch page for additional information.
I like it. The shoes does evoke a premium feel to it. Small stuff like the leather laces and quilted upper give it a nice luxurious feel. Will I drop $400 on them? Perhaps. Only time will tell.
