In honor of MJ’s alma mater — the University of North Carolina — this Air Jordan 9 Low will be offered at retailers starting tomorrow.
Dressed in a bold university blue tone that essentially covers its smooth leather upper, this 1994 retro is perfectly juxtaposed against a crisp, white rubber sole unit. Additional contrasting accents such as tonal black grace the tongue, inner lining and Jumpman globe badge on the rear, while more hits of university blue adorn the heel via the Jumpman branding, in addition to a number “23” embroidery in white across its rear.
Find a pair at select JB and Nike retailers on Saturday, June 11 for a price tag of $170.

I don’t hate how it looks in low-cut form, but I’d really prefer the model in its original form. The colorway isn’t for me, but it’s pretty appealing.
