Heralded Japanese designer, Yohji Yamamoto and the German sportswear giant, adidas, have been pioneers of creating a contemporary and luxury approach to sportswear, even before its mainstream status as of late.
Now the duo take it a step further by launching Y-3 Sport — the brand’s first collection dedicated to activewear.
Essentially blending Yamamoto’s avant garde and innovative sensibilities with the label’s sport centric roots, the new line consists of sleek reflective jackets, running tights, tees, shorts, backpacks and shoes — which also utilizes the Three Stripes’ BOOST, Techfit, adizero, and Primeknit technologies.
Men’s and women’s apparel range from $150 – $880, while the lineup of footwear starts at $365 – $795.
You can purchase the entire collection at Y-3 boutiques worldwide now.
