Following the release of its classic colorway in white/red/royal, the Nike Cortez ’72, which is essentially the original design of the iconic runner from 1972, is presented in another appealing finish this season.
Specifically listed women, this revived silhouette sports a pristine sail white leather construction with a classic gum sole unit. Accents of black are applied on the midsole to nicely complement the palette, while details such as a foam tongue, zig-zag edges, rubber toe cap and leather pull-tabs round out the overall build.
Finished off with subtle branding on the tongue labels aside from the recognizable Swoosh on its side panels, look for this latest variation at select Nike accounts overseas now.
I’m a sucker for runners and I’m instantly a fan of this pair. I like the retro look but I’m just biased because of the timeless colorway. It’s definitely suitable for men as well.
